Systems before surfaces
My first technical qualification gave me a structured way to think about software, monitoring, maintenance and practical problem solving.
Hi, I’m Mattia, a freelance web designer. I build websites around one clear idea: digital spaces should look sharp, feel coherent, and guide people without confusion. I work to combine the visual identity with a clean structure, having an eye for details to create web experiences that are modern, usable, and built with intention. A good website should not just look good, it should feel coherent, and easy to trust.
My first technical qualification gave me a structured way to think about software, monitoring, maintenance and practical problem solving.
Hospitality and supervisory roles taught me to listen, coordinate, stay calm and translate complex situations into clear next steps.
I completed Web Designer training and a practical internship across WordPress, Elementor, SEO content, local setup, responsiveness and performance.
I deepened UX, accessibility, content hierarchy, SEO thinking, performance, AI-assisted creative workflow and conversion-focused structure.
In 2026 I shaped that growth into a freelance direction focused on clear structure, strong visuals and reliable front-end delivery.
I aim for interfaces that feel premium and memorable without losing readability, accessibility, speed or practical purpose.
The work is shaped by a practical mix of visual design, front-end structure and client-facing awareness. Every decision should make the website clearer, faster, easier to use or more convincing.
My main focus is hand-coded website work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I use WordPress or Elementor when a CMS genuinely supports the project goals, not as a default shortcut.
Planning, monitoring, testing and maintainability shape the way I approach digital work.
Client-facing work taught me to communicate clearly, stay calm and keep experiences easy to understand.
Today I build standalone websites that can stay lightweight on their own and still integrate with wider workflows when needed.
The goal is not decoration alone. I focus on structure, understanding and dependable delivery so the site feels coherent from the first section to the last interaction.
I like layouts that guide attention naturally, content blocks that scan well and pages that stay easy to maintain later on.
Hospitality taught me to listen properly, read situations quickly and explain progress in a calm, useful way.
My strongest interest is building directly with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, keeping projects self-standing and flexible instead of over-dependent on a CMS.
Accessibility, performance, content hierarchy and AI-assisted workflows are part of an ongoing process of testing, learning and improving.
A path built through technical structure, operational discipline, hospitality communication, formal training and focused self-learning.
Qualities I aim to bring into every project, from structure and clarity to collaboration and steady improvement.
The toolkit stays practical: plan clearly, build with intent, test locally and keep improving after launch.
I use wireframes, visual planning and quick concept exploration to shape layouts before building them.
I build websites with a practical workflow focused on structure, maintainability, local testing and smooth publishing.
I improve visibility, accessibility, performance and content quality so a website works better after launch too.
